Veronica M. Barisich is the Presiding Judge in Department 5 of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada. Elected in November 2020, she took the bench in January 2021.

Professional Background

​

Before taking the bench, Judge Barisich built a highly respected legal career handling civil litigation, family law, guardianship, and probate matters. She has also served her community in multiple roles, including as a Small Claims Court Judge Pro Tem and on the State Bar of Nevada Fee Dispute Committee.
